The Smart Pet Feeder

The pet feeder in which we designed, prototyped, and tested was done so with the following goals in mind.

  • Must feed pet at a user programmed time daily, and control the amount of food the pet is getting.
  • Must be able to prevent another pet from getting into the food when it is not supposed to.

This pet feeder is most ideal for a household with multiple pets and wants to keep one pet from eating the food of the other. For example a dog eating the cat's food or if there are two cats and one is on a special diet.
